New X-Plane 10

Hi All,
Eventhough I can't continuer my sim cockpit project at these days, My new X-Plane 10 arrived just 5 days ago from Noel. It was really a great gift for me. I had the chance to fly with 747-400 using its FMC options and testing the new features of  X-Plane 10.
I will share some photos and videos. And I am planning to prepare some tutorials as well for beginners.

Pieces Arrived

Slow Progress

Hi,
Unfortunately, i got not much progress on my construction. I was dealing about the change of my car and about searching a bigger house for my cockpit !
But during my holiday in Turkey, I am sure about finding and buying all small pieces such as rotators, switches leds and other small parts. On my return, I hope I will share more details and photos about the construction.

Having knowledge about ports

I collect some information about manipulation of parallel and serial ports since I will need some more options like feedbacks or more connections.
Eventhough using those ports are old fashion, i found it is still usefull for some special effects.

Hands on

As of  13 April I started to craft. I found many different types of woods and collected them. Seriously I made the calculations for the cuttings and the desing of the cockpit shell.
I will give you details in the construction page.

Two seats found for my cockpit

I found two old car seats last week. They were thrown away by one of my neighbor and I saw them luckily while passing by with my car. And for the captain seat it has an arm support as well. They were washed with pressurized water and cleaned totally. Of course I started to look for a textile like boing type seats.
